The City Mosbach and the municipalities Obrigheim, Haßmersheim, Neckarzimmern und Schwarzach are the holders of the inter-communal Business Park TECH•N•O.
The tourist centre is located in Mosbach's historical Old City. Impressive half-timbered buildings and houses (e.g. the Palm'sche House) and the winding alleys of the Old City create a romantic atmosphere.
With the culture and conference centre "Alte Mälzerei", a forum for music, theatre and artworks has been created. The "Mosbacher Sommer" with more than 40 different cultural events became an integral part of the cultural life of the region.
Sport fields, indoor tennis courts, riding stables, golf courses, a gliding field, paragliding, ballooning, bike and hiking trails and a varied club and association life leave nothing to be desired regarding recreational activities.
Obrigheim is situated on the west bank of the river Neckar along the romantic Castle Road (Burgenstraße) of the beautiful Nature Park "Neckartal-Odenwald".
The village consists of three districts: Obrigheim, Asbach and Mörtelstein.
There are many culturell and social offers available like: a museum of local history, a unique forrest cabin and various nature trails.
A mini-golf course, relaxation areas and a campsite-located in a uniquelly beautiful landscape- complete the leisure and sports possibilities.
The historical Castle "Schloß Neuburg", built in the fourteenth century, is the oldest building in the village. The Castle is located on a rock and plainly visible from both river and land.
The village Haßmersheim geographically adjoins the district of Heilbronn, which is one of the most economically prospering areas in Germany. Haßmersheim is an important business location with local companies FIBRO GmbH and MOTIP DUPLI GmbH providing more than 1000 jobs.
As an innovative and family-friendly community, Haßmersheim also provides living space for countless employees of Audi, the Lidl headquarters and many more companies.
Neckarzimmern invites you to the castle "Hornberg". The former seat of the Knight Götz von Berlichingen (not only famous for his well-known sentence) is an impressive castle construction with a panoramic view to the magnificent river landscape of the Neckar.
The "Kleine Odenwald" is located in one of the most beautiful sections of the lower Neckar valley. A landscape that combines the character of the northern Odenwald with that of the hilly Kraichgau. The municipality of Schwarzach lies on the southern slope of the "Kleinen Odenwald" in the middle of large deciduous and coniferous forests.
Contemporary infrastructure and a high residential and leisure value together with the scenic location contribute to the fact that the currently approx. 3.000 inhabitants can feel at home in Schwarzach.
Sights such as the Catholic church built in 1750 in baroque style, the Protestant church built in 1914 in art nouveau style and the preserved half-timbered houses, fountains and village ponds characterise the townscape.
Schwarzach is particularly important as a local recreation destination. On the southern edge of Unterschwarzach, the community has created a recreation centre that enjoys great popularity. An approx. 10 hectare wildlife park, a heated outdoor swimming pool on terraces, an alla-hopp! facility (movement and meeting facility for all generations) as well as the camper site invite the people of Schwarzach and approx. 100.000 visitors a year to slow down.
